By 2030, The Seed Fund aims to support the conservation and sustainable management of vital reserves of biodiversity and irrecoverable carbon, while strengthening the wellbeing of communities connected to these landscapes.

Design of the Country Packages

We support early-stage planning and preparation, including:

- Needs assessments
- Governance & institutional set-up
- Stakeholder engagement
- Vision & communication
- Costing & donor mapping

Implementation
2027―2031
We support the delivery of projects within Country Packages, with a grantmaking focus on:
- Institutional capacity-building
- Vital reserves of high biodiversity and irrecoverable carbon
- Scientific research that guides conservation decision-making
- Long-term financing mechanisms and enabling conditions for investor confidence
